Yesterday's market, read properly.
Free, every morning.

Every morning, a short report arrives from us as a PDF. It is all about yesterday. Not your yesterday: the market's. The quotes that ran across the lines you write, matched against the last thirty days of the market, scored on our rules and sorted by colour.

It asks nothing of you. No integration. No data sharing agreement. No procurement. Nobody has to connect anything and nobody has to sign anything. It's free, and it keeps arriving.

Preview shows you what the Percayso Quote Lake sees that a single insurer's or broker's own data never can. Then it lets you decide whether you want to see the same thing in your own book.

Everyone Enriches the Same Way

Think about what you call at the point of quote. The credit bureau. The claims database. The fraud database. Vehicle and property, where it's relevant. Now think about what your competitor calls. It's the same list.

Those sources are a commodity. And one pass through them returns only what the applicant's own details can find. A name spelled differently, an address they didn't mention, a car sitting under somebody else's name: none of it comes back, because you didn't know to ask.

Preview is the evidence of that blind spot, measured every morning across the market you compete in.

What Preview Is, and What It Is Not

Preview is the market. It is not your book. It isn't your quotes, your customers or your pricing, and it isn't a trial of your own numbers with the good parts switched off.

There's a straightforward reason for that. We have no mandate to look at your book. Nobody has given us one, so we don't.

If you want your own numbers rather than the market's, that's a different conversation. We'd like to have it, but you have to start it.

What arrives in your inbox

A short PDF booklet, or a link to download it, front-loaded with the headline insight. Never a hundred-page dump. Built from the Percayso Quote Lake, the UK's largest insurance quote dataset, and targeted to the lines of business you write.

30 Days

of market matching behind every quote

1Yesterday's market quotes are taken from the Quote Lake, for the lines of business you write
2Each is matched against the last thirty days of the market
3Every quote is scored on our rules and given a colour
4The same quotes are counted twice: the way most of the market counts, and the way we do
5The report is written up as a short PDF, shaped for insurers and MGAs or for brokers
6It arrives in your inbox before you start the day

Two counts, four colours

Open the report and the first thing you'll see is the same quotes counted twice. The gap between those two counts is the whole report.

The Capped Count

The way most of the market counts. An exact match on the name, and it stops at twenty five. Once a quote hits twenty five, the answer is just "twenty five or more", for ever.

A view that stops at twenty five can't tell a quote seen twenty five times from one seen fifteen hundred times. Those are not the same risk.

The Full Count

Ours. The same day, the same quotes. But we also count the name spelled another way, and the times somebody turns up as a named driver on somebody else's quote. No cap.

Look at the last two bands. That's where the market's capped view runs out, and where the risk it can't see sits.

The Colours

Purple is noise: quotes that were never going to become a policy. Green is clean: the business worth competing hardest for. Red and amber sit in between, and the honest description is that they're not green.

And the colour worth looking at first isn't red. It's green: clean business the market wrote, that nobody competed for.

One market.
Two ways of reading it.

The market is the same for everyone. What matters in it isn't. So Preview comes in two flavours, each built around what its reader is actually optimising for.

For Insurers and MGAs

Your technical price is only as good as the data behind it. Preview shows you the manipulation and fronting running through the market in the lines you write: the quotes that were never what they claimed to be.

That's the anti-selection you can't see in your own book. The risks everyone else has already screened out, heading for whoever is a beat slower. MGAs get a version shaped for their schemes.

Improve your combined operating ratio without re-underwriting the whole book: Preview shows you where the leakage is, not just the price.

For Brokers

Protection. Manipulation and fraud flags on yesterday's quotes, against the last thirty days. Every manipulated quote that slips through is a policy sold on the wrong price, and margin leaking out of a book that's already thin.

Opportunity. Of yesterday's quotes, how many other risks the same people are shopping for: cars, homes, vans, bikes and taxis. Prompts for the cross-sells, upsells and add-ons that each mean more commission.

Protect your lifetime value and commission, and stop subsidising the shoppers who were never going to be profitable.

Where the numbers come from

If you quote on the aggregators, quotes you also saw are in our market data. You never gave us a mandate for that, and we're not claiming one. That's the whole answer. Here's the detail.

Our Arrangements

The data reaches us through our own arrangements, with the aggregators and the suppliers we work with. It doesn't come from you, and there's nothing you signed.

Not Your Book

We don't have your book: not your pricing, not your customers, not your renewals, not the reason you said yes or no to anything. Which is why the report shows you the market, and never you.

The Honest Edge

That isn't a restriction we're being coy about. It's the honest edge of what we can see. If you'd rather see your own numbers, that's where the next conversation starts.

Where Preview leads

Preview is the first step. Each step after it changes one thing, so you only ever take on what you're ready for.

Your Rules, Our Data

The same report, at the same time, built from the same quotes and the same thirty days. The only thing that changes is whose thresholds decide the colours. Yours do.

Champion and challenger on the real market, every morning, with nothing connected and no production risk.

From the Market to Your Quotes

One connection, through your software house. From then on the report is about your own quotes, in real time, with enrichment pulled live against them.

It's one connection, once. Everything that comes after arrives down the same pipe, with no further integration work.

Acting On It

Step in by hand on the business already on your book, or hand the score to pricing while the quote is still live, so the rate moves or you decline. Then the complete picture, with Symphony: a conversation, not a sign-up.

A free read of the market, for every part of UK insurance

Insurers

See the manipulation and fronting running through the market in the lines you write, before it reaches your book. Run your own thresholds across the whole market with no production risk, and see what they would have done before they touch a live quote.
